78-year-old Carl Fredricksen ties hundreds of baloons to his house and sets out on a journey to live atop Paradise Falls in South America. Unfortunately Carl learns too late that he is not alone on his adventure as young wilderness explorer Russell has inadvertently stowed away on his porch. Together the two of them embark on an adventure to the depths of the South American wilderness.
