Our Executives help keep FilmSoc running smoothly, but most members don’t know what their jobs actually entail or who they should contact regarding an issue. Refer below to find out what each executive does in more detail. All of the executive responsibilites are detailed in our constitution.

Executive Elections #

Being a FilmSoc executive is an elected position. You, regular FilmSoc members, have to the power to choose who runs your club. You even have the ability to run the club yourself. Executive elections occur every year in our Spring general meeting. Nomination forms for positions are posted at least two weeks prior to the elections, and anyone can run (though UBC students get priority).
